Bach. of Psychology (Hons), HELP University
Charlene is the Director of Autism Behavioral Center. She is a trained ABA Therapist and team leader, working with children in the spectrum in Malaysia for 10 years now. Under the tutelage of the pioneer center of ABA in Malaysia, as well as having the opportunity to work alongside consultants and BCBA’s from USA, Charlene has worked with children and families of all ages.
Charlene possesses a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP university College, and a certificate in Special Education Needs and Learning Disabilities. She is also a certified Play Therapy Practitioner. Charlene is currently pursuing her Masters in Education, majoring in Early Childhood Education (MEd-ECE). She currently divides her time working with families and therapists under ABC, and lectures in the College of Allied Educators in Kuala Lumpur, primarily in ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis), Autism, classroom behavior management and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).
Charlene actively trains parents and therapists around the country, as well as provides school shadow aide services in local and international schools for special needs children and children in the autism spectrum.
Case Supervisor

Fanny is a Case Supervisor with Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). She has been working with children in the spectrum for over 3 years now. Fanny is experienced working with children in varying levels on the spectrum (mild to severe), as well as is currently working with varying ages; from young learners to teenagers.
She possesses a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University and has received Oral Placement Therapy Training in Singapore and the Hanen Teacher Training from a certified practitioner. Fanny has also obtained a professional certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) with the Behavioral Analysis Academy.

Dianne Geoffrey is a Case Supervisor at the Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). She graduated with first class honours from the Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology (Hons) program at Monash University. To date, she has gained experience in providing Home based/ Center based ABA therapy and Shadow Aide services as well as treatment plans for children aged one to 13 years of age (mild to severe) on the Autism Spectrum.
Her passion to work with special needs children is reflected in her conviction that each child possesses a uniqueness and capacity to optimise their potential with early intervention, an individualised treatment plan and adequate support from families/ teachers. Additionally, she believes that by creating more awareness on Autism, we can strive to foster a more inclusive society, prioritising community integration. As such, Dianne works closely with skilled behaviour therapists, families and teachers to create a consistent and enriched learning environment for each child to reach their highest potential.

Qavitha is a Case Supervisor for Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). She has earned her Bachelors of Science degree with Honors in Psychology with Certificate of Professional Experience from University of Plymouth, UK. She also possesses Hanen Teacher Training from a certified practitioner and Level 1 Sign Language Course from RC Deaf Missions.
With the passion of working with individuals of various ages from toddlers to adults, she has started her career in this field since 2015. Furthermore, she has also gained experience in school shadow services, and she has worked with kindergartens and international schools to support children in adapting to mainstream school routines. With her growing passion towards her children, she aims to attain her BCaBA in the future, and establish confidence in the society to help support the children and their families.

Ungku Dayana (D) graduated in Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Psychology) with Honours from The National University of Malaysia (UKM). She has experienced running ABA therapy and shadow aide services for kids and teenagers on the spectrum, developmental delay and challenging behaviors.
She started as an ABA therapist and growing interest to continue in the field upon seeing how positive progress ABA has helped to change these kids’ lives to fit into the real world. She is passionate about seeing every little milestone that the child/teenager progresses and truly believes that every milestone achieved needs to consistently progress and eventually, be able to transition smoothly into a mainstream school or work after receiving an effective ABA therapy.
She will continuously support and promote awareness on the importance of receiving intervention to provide individuals on the spectrum an opportunity to fit in the social and community.

Mary Jane (MJ) graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Language Studies (English Language for Professional Communication) with a minor in Education from University Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor.She believes in the efficacy of early intervention witnessing how it changes the life of a family member that is close to her. Delving deeper into the field of ABA, she started her career as an ABA therapist. She has worked with clients ranging from 18 months (early learners) to adult clients (34 years old), ranging from mild to severe on the spectrum.
Throughout the years of working with children on the spectrum, MJ has witnessed tremendous progress as a result of effective intervention, as well as parents’ involvement in helping their kids to achieve their full potential.
As autism has become more prevalent in society especially in Malaysia, she hopes to increase awareness on the need for early intervention and work together with families to ensure that both individuals on the spectrum and their families are able to live better quality of life

Kah Mun has a strong interest in ABA as she has seen how it could improve the growth of children with autism and the positive impact it has on families. She is passionate about working with children and finds joy in seeing every little milestone as they achieve it. She believes that individuals with autism could develop to their best potential with early interventions. Kah Mun wishes to raise awareness of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles in Malaysia and foster a society with autism acceptance and inclusion.

She is very passionate about seeing every little milestone that the child achieves. For instance, witnessing a child with disruptive behaviors in the beginning, who is not able to communicate his/her needs and converse in two-way communication using complete sentences by seeking early intervention. She believes that every little effort placed in a child’s progress and milestones would eventually help the child in developing and improving their social, academic, communication and living skills. This further motivated her to pursue her certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behaviour Analysis Certification Board (BACB) to enhance her understanding and ensure she provides quality services when working with special needs children.

She is currently pursuing her QASP-S certification from QABA. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from Lancaster University (UK) and Sunway University (MY). She looks forward to collaborating and building strong working relationships with the team, parents, and multidisciplinary health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes for the neurodivergent community.

Her dedication and hard work paid off, and she was promoted to the role of case supervisor after just a few years. As a case supervisor, Jay is responsible for overseeing the work of behavior therapists and ensuring that each child’s treatment plan is being implemented effectively. She is passionate about raising public awareness on ABA to help and support the children in need and their families. Jay’s clients hold her in high regard due to her expertise and unwavering commitment to her work. Her empathetic and nurturing approach has resulted in her gaining the trust and admiration of the families she assists.

In her current role as Case Supervisor at ABC, Shahras leads a team of behavior therapists, overseeing the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs). She is particularly skilled in conducting skill-based treatment (SBT) which is a versatile and thorough method for addressing severe challenging behaviors. Grounded in a trauma-informed approach, SBT provides a personalized treatment experience, promoting development, resilience, and lasting success for those dealing with behavioral and learning difficulties.
Alongside her current role, she is also pursuing Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) certification, which complements her dedication in ethical and evidence-based interventions. In addition to her professional work, Shahras is actively involved in Malaysia Association of Behavior Analysis (MABA), in marketing and promotional efforts on ongoing CEU courses in the field.
